Get familiar with personnel in your ALDOT division and attend the public comment sessions when road work is proposed. Provide comments to ALDOT at these sessions or via email. Let them know that cyclists wish to safely use roads, too, and shoulders, bike lanes, and pedestrian accommodations are desired as part of the transportation system.#
